Hump Day Dinner #43: McGills

McGill's
6058 S. Yale
Tulsa, OK  74135

Last week, we were originally scheduled to eat at The White Lion Pub, an english pub at 71st and Yale, but it was closed because of the weather. So, we all went over to McGill's for our Wednesday night dinner instead. They were very accommodating and sat our group of 12 in the VIP room. This wasn't the first time that I had eaten at McGill's, as I had been there for lunch a couple of times with work, but this was the first time that I had eaten there for dinner. To be honest, I don't really like McGill's. I think the food is overpriced and the food isn't that special (I really don't know what the hype is about this restaurant). The one good thing about the restaurant though is its good service. For dinner last Wednesday, I had the fried shrimp and Andrew had the steak. My meal wasn't very good because the shrimp had a fishy taste to them (I know that shrimp is seafood, but they aren't supposed to taste like pieces of fish) and Andrew thought his steak was ok, but nothing special. Would I eat here again? No, I personally would not choose to eat here again. I would only eat here if I had to and I would stick with the caesar salad, which is saying something, if you know me.
