If you love gourmet hot dogs, then you'll love The Junkyard Dawg. This newly opened restaurant is located at 61st Street and Mingo, right next to Bros Houligan. Junkyard and car memorabilia cover the walls and you can order everything from "The T-Town Pup" to "The Bruiser." Hot dog/sausage fans can devour every kind of sausage...everything from a coney to a polish sausage and even a bratwurst. If you don't see something on the menu, the staff, who are extremely nice and very accommodating, encourage you to make your own creation. Overall, the group liked their food (Since, I'm a chickaterian, I decided to forgo the sausages) and it was very inexpensive. If you're in the area and looking for a cheap place to eat lunch, check out this new addition to south Tulsa. It would definitely fit the bill.
